PCR rules and event organisation

The first rule book of the Polish Cowboy Race was developed between 2014 and 2015. It is new and original, created by a group of western enthusiasts from Lower Silesia, Poland. All documents governing the organization, execution, and participation in PCR competitions are updated and expanded annually to establish fair competition rules based on safety, sportsmanship, and respect for both horses and competitors.

The Polish Cowboy Race Foundation offers remote training sessions each year on the principles of organizing PCR events. An important part of these courses is the analysis of the documents required for preparing PCR competitions.

In this module, you will find documents that are essential and helpful for organizing and participating in PCR events. We hope you will make use of them and treat them as templates for your own activities.
